A Brief Review Of The Fuji FinePix A303

By Ahmed Anwar Akkare

If you are trying to purchase a digital camera, you are in for a tough task. You will find different companies making many different types of digital cameras. You will also come across lots of crap cameras on the market that really shouldn't have been made in the first place. Regardless of what you are looking for in a digital camera, it is advisable that you know exactly what you want. For instance, if price is an issue, you will need to determine the price of how much you are willing to pay for a camera. And are you searching for a camera to only take pictures or do you want something where you will also have the ability to take video clips?

As soon as you have what you want narrowed down, you can then take your smaller list to find the right digital camera for you. The average 35mm camera will take better photographs than almost all digital cameras. Then again, you should think about film and film processing charges, which is why many people want a digital camera. Perhaps another criteria is the media card, and perhaps the 16 MB card that comes with the Fujifilm FinePix A303 digital camera, or the 64 MB card that you can purchase additionally to save 250-300 high quality images. Of course, the 64 MB card should actually be sufficient for just about any person.

The is a smaller 3.2 mega pixel camera that takes good quality photos in a little silver box, about 3" x 2" x 1". The Fujifilm FinePix A303 features a 6x total zoom, USB port for connecting to a computer, red-eye reduction, built-in timer, and built-in flash. The fact that the Fujifilm FinePix A303 is extremely easy to use is just one more thing that makes this camera a good choice, especially for the beginner. The fact that you can't take videos with sound is something that some people don't like about this camera.

One of the complaints people have had is first of all, the camera uses up batteries quickly. You do have the option to turn the view screen off and if you combine that with mostly snapping pictures outside where you don't need a flash, the batteries will last the same as other cameras. However, you will be changing the batteries if you are using the flash or screen. Lots of people have complained that they are losing photographs because of the review function when they are scrolling through the photographs they snapped. You will end up overwriting the photographs if you don't scroll to the end of the photographs before snapping new photographs. This can be very annoying the first time it happens, and you lose some photographs that you truly wanted.

The fact that the FinePix A303 is a plastic camera and not really durable has led to a number of complaints. In general, virtually all of the reviews the Fujifilm FinePix A303 has gotten have been good. Virtually all people understand that they are getting a low end digital camera and that some quality has to be given up to be able to sell the camera for a low price. If you are searching for affordability and decent quality, the FinePix A303 could be a good digital camera for you. However, if you are searching for a top quality digital camera with all the best features, you may want to keep on looking.
